More bricks and scaffold..

The bricklayers have been laying bricks all week. The back of the house is completed around the home theatre.

Scaffolding went up yesterday so bricks will continue into next week.

Plumber has been and roughed in all the pipes and gas etc

We had a phone call from our new site supervisor yesterday, introducing himself. We will catch up with him on site soon.

I fell in love with wooden apples in one of our builders display homes and finally asked them where they came from!
So I have made my first purchase for our new home! Quite possibly the most expensive apples I'll ever buy, but they will look fantastic in the kitchen!

And then there were bricks!

Monday marked our 5th week since our build started.

Our lovely Boral Blackheath bricks arrived on site last Friday.
Brickies were on site first thing Monday morning and they are progressing well.
The colour in the bricks is lovely.

Monday also saw our plumbing being roughed in and dirt removal.

Frames etc

I've been a bit slack with the updates!

It's been moving along quite quickly, since my last update, we've had plumbing & sewer connections done, windows delivered (about 2 weeks early!), frames delivered and started and our site fence erected.

Here are some photos of the story so far....
